The protocol evaluating is divided into 3 parts:

  1. Recruitment of volunteers;
  2. Energy expenditure estimation using f(η,d) and data collected by the smartphone application;
  3. Comparative study of results between Armband, Actiheard and the EE estimation function.


1. Recruitment of volunteers

Fourty-two volunteers were divided into 2 groups:
